In fact, he calls occasionally to check in. This
is not a casual promise, and we discovered that
months after his crew had left. A small crack had
materialized in the bathroom ceiling. Leroy explained
to us that the framing lumber had shrunk in this
area adjacent to existing framing. We came home
to find the area repaired and retextured. We thought
he had sent one of his crew to fix it - he had turned
up himself. That's customer service. The boss of
bosses still gets his hands dirty.
If we have one criticism of Leroy, it's that
he stiffens and freezes when we bring out the camera.
Other than that, we'll give him 99 points out of
100. There must be a crooked nail someplace."
